Geocent Donates over $30k to Volunteers of America

Geocent's annual fundraising event for 2017 shows the generosity of its employees and the entire Geocent organization. Employees across all locations donated more than $15,000 to Volunteers of America and Geocent matched this output dollar to dollar up to $15,000.

Volunteers of America is dedicated to helping those in need live healthy, safe, and productive lives. Their services support and empower America's most vulnerable groups, including veterans, seniors, people with disabilities, at-risk individuals, the homeless, and those recovering from addictions.

"I am so proud to be a part of this amazing group of people that generously donate to the Geocent's Annual Fundraiser," said Joy Stuart, Head of Geocent's Community Involvement Committee, "and truly live the Geocent corporate culture of giving back to the communities we work and live in."

We asked Volunteers of America to earmark these funds for veterans' programs. Over the past 8 years, Geocent and its employees have donated over $80k to numerous organization such as: Wounded Warrior, Operation Homefront, Volunteers for America, Ronald McDonald House and Junior Achievement.
