Josie Delaune Promoted to VP of Human Capital

Geocent, a leading technology company sought after by clients and partners for consistently delivering the right solution, announced the promotion of Josie Delaune to Vice President, Human Capital. The announcement was made by Rick Gremillion, President and COO of Geocent.

"Josie is an integral part of our success and in a short period of time has proven to be a strong, visionary leader," said Rick Gremillion, President and COO. "Her direct experience in our industry is invaluable during a period of significant hiring and growth at Geocent."

Delaune joined the human resources team at Geocent in 2016 as the Human Resources Director. Her 10 years of experience in HR strategy and compliance made her a natural fit for the current promotion. Prior to her position with Geocent, Delaune was a member of the HR team at Lockheed Martin where she provided human resources support and leadership to employees and executives at the enterprise and business unit levels in staffing, performance management, compensation, training and development and other areas.

Delaune holds a Master's Degree in Human Resource Education from Louisiana State University and Masters of Business Administration from Arizona State University. She maintains the designations of Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She is certified as a LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt and EEAC Equal Opportunity Professional.

As Vice President of Human Capital at Geocent, Delaune is responsible for the HR strategy and compliance of all Geocent employees. She leads the company in employee relations, training and development, succession planning, recruiting and retention, benefits, and payroll with a focus on maximizing the quality of the employment experience for every Geocent employee.
