Vice President of Business Development
Mr. Brett Camet currently serves as Vice President of Business Development for Geocent, focusing on business development with an emphasis on capturing new strategic markets and managing the overall growth efforts of the organization.
Geocent has become one of the industry leaders in information technology, engineering technical services, defense and aerospace manufacturing support, and decision support. The company is repeating its success in the local market by expanding into strategic markets across the country. With over 19 years' business development experience, Mr. Camet develops and manages key relationships with all management levels in federal agencies such as the Space and Naval Warfare Command Atlantic (SPAWARALANT), SPAWAR Pacific, the USDA National Finance Center, the Veterans Administration, the Marine Force Reserves, and the Department of Homeland Security. He also manages and reviews the business development efforts of other Geocent consultants who are contributing to the growth and positioning of the organization.
Mr. Camet has a bachelor's degree in marketing and is an active member in the business and information technology community. He belongs to the Louisiana Technology Council, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Bayou Chapter, the AFCEA Low Country, the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, the Local Project Management Association, the New Orleans Procurement Technical Assistance Center, the Charleston Defense Contractor Association, and the Gulf Coast Government Contractor Association.
Mr. Camet has stayed on top of his field through his participation in seminars and leadership programs such as Management by Strengths Leadership, Sandler Sales Training, Sandler Management Training, and Shipley Proposal and Capture Management Training. In addition, he has benefited by engaging in motivational seminars by Peter Lowe, Anthony Robbins, and Jim Rohn.
