​Mr. Wayne Eldridge Bourgeois, MBA PMP (Ridge), joined Geocent in 2010 and currently serves as Vice President for the Federal Information Technology (IT) sector. He is headquartered in our New Orleans, LA, Lakefront office, but his supervisory responsibilities also include work being done out of the Geocent Charleston, SC, Stennis Space Center, MS, and Baton Rouge, LA, offices and other remote locations such as San Diego, CA. This sector employs software engineers and other IT specialists with a focus on meeting the needs of federal government offices, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Defense and the armed services in general .

Ridge earned his MBA at the University of New Orleans in 2002 after having earned his Bachelor's at Louisiana State University's Agricultural and Mechanical College in 2001. Ridge dove directly into the Federal IT market with his first position at which he provided program support to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center - New Orleans (Louisiana) contractors. He was soon recruited by QinetiQ North America where he served as program manager from 2001 to 2010 and where he learned and mastered every aspect of the business from proposal writing to development to product delivery and support. As a program manager and as director with specialties in the development of software and systems for the military command and control, emergency management/chemical biological radiological and nuclear, geospatial, maritime domain awareness, defense support of civilian authorities, and Navy emergency preparedness liaison domains, Ridge has been and continues to be a major contributor to Geocent's success.

Ridge is a member of the Gulf Coast Government Contractors Association and served as its president from July 2010 to June 2012. Ridge is currently on the board for the local Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) chapter. He and his wife Gretchen live in Mandeville, LA, where in his spare time, he enjoys volunteering as a soccer, basketball, baseball, and football coach with local youth clubs, which gives him the opportunity to coach his three sons Gavin, Cade, and Hudson.
